Terms of Service

By creating an account or using NestScout (operated by DevStudyo), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

1. What NestScout is

An AI home-intelligence app: camera/voice diagnosis, step-by-step guides, proactive alerts, warranty tracking, savings planning, a neighborhood community, and a marketplace to hire local service professionals (“Pros”). For users 18+ in supported areas.

2. AI guidance is informational — not professional advice

NestScout’s diagnoses, guides, routing (DIY vs. Pro), and answers are AI-generated and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are for general information only and are not professional, safety, electrical, plumbing, structural, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions. For anything involving gas, electricity, water, heights, structural work, or any risk of injury or property damage, consult a licensed professional. NestScout does not perform the work and is not a licensed contractor. Do not rely on the app in an emergency — call the appropriate emergency service or utility.

3. Your account

Keep your credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account and for providing accurate information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. The Pro marketplace

NestScout connects you with independent third-party Pros. We are not a party to the service you arrange with a Pro and don’t guarantee their work, licensing, or outcomes. Marketplace payments are processed by Stripe; for in-person visits, an outing fee is held at booking and credited toward (never stacked on) the final invoice, with cancellation and commission terms shown in the app at booking. Disputes with a Pro are between you and the Pro.

5. NestScout Plus (subscription)

Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play; price and period are shown before purchase. It renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends — manage or cancel in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by the app stores per their policies. Core diagnosis features remain free.

6. Community & user content

You own what you post but grant NestScout a license to host and display it within the app to operate the community. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior — no unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or spam content, and nothing that infringes others’ rights or privacy. We provide tools to report content and block users, and we may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms, typically acting on reports within 24 hours. Your neighborhood posts are visible to other users.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, overload our systems, circumvent security, infringe IP, or use the app for unlawful purposes or unsafe work you’re not qualified to do.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind (including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevStudyo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for property damage, injury, or losses arising from reliance on AI guidance or from services provided by Pros.
